Trailer & Poster - Step Up Revolution

"Enough with performance art, its time for protest art." And with that line I nearly had a heart attack from joy. The 'Step Up' films are something I hold very dear to my heart. They are light-hearted fare that always satisfies. Great dancing, energetic music, fresh takes on the dance culture and some cheesy romance peppered in for good measure. Today the full-length trailer has hit the net and it has sent me into a state of bliss. See the new "Step Up Revolution" trailer for yourself below...

Posters & Screening - Lost Coast Tapes

One movie I am eagerly anticipating is "The Lost Coast Tapes", a found-footage thriller focusing on a reporter and his documentary crew who are out to prove a Bigfoot Hunter claiming to posses the body of a dead Sasquatch in Northern California is a fraud. This is a concept that immediately nabbed my full attention. Bigfoot movies are sorely lacking from cinemas and it is refreshing to know someone else felt the same. To help generate some buzz for the upcoming film, New Breed Entertainment and Freeway Studios have setup a contest to win VIP tickets to a "The Lost Coast Tapes" screening in Los Angeles on April 12th, 2012. Take a look at the fuill details and the first two posters for the thriller below...

Teaser Trailer - Step Up 4

Maybe you'd call it a guilty pleasure but I have no shame in the fact that I thoroughly enjoy the 'Step Up' films. They remind me how much I enjoy watching amazing dancers strut their stuff. Much like the 'Fast and the Furious' films, the Step Up movies grab a niche and have done a thrilling job showing off the various forms of dance. Today our first look at where the fourth film in the series "Step Up 4" is set and just what we can expect hit the net. Take a look at the announcement for yourself below.

Trailer - Gob Bless America

I've been a fan of  Bobcat Goldthwait since his stand-up days but his recent effort behind the camera has really made me take notice of what he has to say. His latest focuses on Frank, a terminally ill man who is disgusted with our society and begins a killing spree aimed on who he deems sickening. "God Bless America" is number ten on my most anticipated for 2012 and having now seen this trailer, that ten should be listed in uppercase bold because it looks like Bobcat has another solid movie on his hands. Check out the Red Band Trailer below.

Poster: Tron Legacy

For awhile now it seems that their is a new "Tron Legacy" poster coming out every other week, but this latest trio of posters is too good for me not to draw a little more attention to Disney's marketing. Starting at the beginning of the week, Empire Online began a slow drip of 3 new posters that would make one Triptych banner. Not only is each piece of the triptych set outstanding together they make a elaborate display of the story and conflict set to take place in the long awaited sequel. Clu and Flynn on opposite sides with Flynn's son caught in the middle. It is  a brilliant design. Gotta love that the middle portion is such a classic throwback to the original poster. I've included each of the posters in high resolution below along with them combined. Enjoy...

Trailer & Poster: Yogi Bear

Was really hoping that yet another one of my childhood cartoons wasn't being raked across the coals, but after watching the first trailer for "Yogi Bear" it appears it is. Like Alvin and the Chipmunks or Garfield, "Yogi Bear" is the next cartoon being brought to life with both live-action and CGI. The movie stars Dan Aykroyd as Yogi Bear and Justin Timberlake as Boo Boo along with Anna Faris and Tom Cavanagh. The live-action hybrid is set to release this Christmas in 3D. See the disappointing trailer for yourself below...

Trailer: The Social Network

There have been a number of teaser trailers that I have neglected to post for David Fincher's upcoming film "The Social Network" but this latest trailer is too good not to post. My expectations for a movie based around the beginnings of Facebook haven't been too high outside of the fact that Jesse Eisenberg is in the lead role and Fincher is directing. This trailer changes all that. This movie quickly jumps near the top of my most anticipated list for 2010. Now that I have officially over-hyped the trailer, check it out for yourself below...

Trailers & Poster: Middle Men

It has been awhile since I lasted talked about the upcoming Paramount film "Middle Men," however two new trailers and a poster have been released recently and I've got them for you here below. "Middle Men" is directed by George Gallo and follows the true story of three guys that jumped started internet commerce through the adult industry. The movie looks like a crossbreed between Blow and Boogie Nights and should at least be worth the price of admission with a cast including Luke Wilson (finally doing something other than an AT&T commercial), Giovanni Ribisi, Kevin Pollak and James Caan. "Middle Men" hits theaters August 6th and checkout both trailers (one is NSFW) and the new poster after the break...

Trailer & Posters: Machete

"Machete" has been rumored since 2007 but it has happened and it will finally hit theaters come September 3rd. Troublemaker Studios have begun the promotions for the Grindhouse effort and let me just say, I'm ecstatic to see this movie play out with a crowd. Last week a brand new trailer released along with a handful of character posters and I've got them all for you below. Enjoy...

Trailer: I Spit on Your Grave

Yet another classic horror film has been remade, this time it is the 1970's cult hit I Spit on Your Grave. A movie that for its time pushed the boundaries of horror and was slammed by critics for its brutal and graphic depictions of rape. Let's just say it's no family film and probably one that you will certainly have to seek out to find. Seems a little strange that someone would remake a film that is destined for a limited release and a lot negative feedback, but here we are. Below I've included the trailer and poster for the remake which hits limited theaters October 8th, 2010.

Trailer: The Loved Ones

The torture horror movement is getting a incy wincy bit long in the tooth, but "The Loved Ones" looks too good not to share with you. The Australian horror written and directed by Sean Byrne released over a year ago in Australia, but it is finally getting a release here in the States outside of Film Festivals. Take a look at the revealing trailer and poster below...

If you would've told me there was going to be a movie about Facebook and I was going to be excited for it, I would've said you were an idiot, but you would have been right. "The Social Network" is nearing its October 1st release date and as a result our first poster has been revealed. Take a look at the poster and a little bit more about the upcoming release after the jump...
